Car-camp Stará Hora is located in a nice natural environment on the bank of Oravská dam near Námestov. From the camp, there is a very nice direct view to the highest peak of Oravské Beskydy called Babia mountain, which is a frequent place of hiking visits. Visitors can find great conditions for relaxation, fun and sport.
In the site, there is a restaurant, also a snack-bar and of course there is a very popular beach snack-bark with delicious draft beer.

Tourism:Castle of Orava, thermal springs Oravice and appr. 70 km from there, thermal spring in Bešenová, open-air musezum Brestová in Roháče, and last but not least Roháče as such, offering a lot of possibilities for hiking trips.

Jako malej kluk jsem tam prožil plno letních prázdnin a rád si na tyto vzpomínky vzpomenu a vím, že jsem je tam prožil...na to nikdy nezapomenu. Rád se tam někdy určitě vrátím.
